VALENTINE'S day is fast approaching and lovebirds on a budget will want to know the cheapest place to buy flowers.

Plenty of retailer offerValentine’s Daydeals to spoil your loved one while watching your wallet.

But if you're looking to spend a little more, many shops also offer luxury bouquets alongside their budget options.

As always, Valentine’s Dayalways falls on February 14 which is on a Wednesday this year.

So, make sure you order your flowers or bouquets in enough time so that they arrive on the big day.

Tesco

Shoppers may want to sprint toTescoas it is offering flower deals that start at just £2.50.

A single red rose can be purchased for £2.50 price, while a small bouquet of a dozen red roses is £5.

Tesco describes the bouquet as a "classic choice for a timeless expression of love".

If you're looking for something to keep for a little longer, the supermarket is selling a mini heart orchid in a ceramic pot.

If you're looking for a more expensive option, the supermarket is selling 100 roses for a whopping £40.

Aldi

Thediscount retailerhas a few different deals for shoppers looking to spend on their loved ones.

Prices start from just £2.49 for a single red rose or £4.49 for a dozen red roses.

This is the cheapest deal we could find for a dozen red roses.

A bouquet of tulips will only put you back around £4.99 and comes with 15 classic red tulips.

The Double Dozen Romantic Roses bouquets are just £9.99 and come with a mix of red, pink, and white roses.

Plus, you can get the One in a Million Bouquet for £19.99.

This bouquet comes with a mix of flowers and includes a statement display.

Lidl

Beginning on 11 February,Lidlcustomers can score flowers starting as low as £2.49 - including the Deluxe Rose.

For £4.99, shoppers can grab their loved one the standard dozen red roses or the Valentine's Day tulips.

The Classic Red Roses and Sweetest Crush Bouquet are £9.99.

Lidl is also offering other higher-priced flower deals like the Double Dozen in red or pink for £11.99, Madam Red Roses for £19.99, or the One and Only bouquet priced at £14.99.

Sainsbury's

Sainsbury'sis offering dozens of deals of flowers for your special someone.

You can pick up long-stem roses in multiple colours like yellow, white orange, pink, or red for £5.

For those looking for a colourful bunch of roses, shoppers can buy a bunch of Rainbow Roses for £10.

The store also has mixed spray carnations for £4, mixed oriental lilies for £6.50, and an Alstroemeria Abundance for £5.

Morrisons

Morrisons has bouquets starting at £5 and going up to £15.

Those watching their wallets may want to try the dozen red roses for just £5.

If you're looking at getting something larger and able to spend more, the Rose And Alstroemeria is priced at £15.

Other deals include Pastel Roses for £9.99, or Bright Roses for £9.99 too.

Asda

Asda shoppers can buy e a variety of bouquets this year from February 11.

Prices start from as little as £2.50 for a single red rose to £20 for the Amore Bouquet.

This is a large bunch consisisting of Chrysanthemums, Roses, Alstromeria in hues from deep purple and red, through to white.

Shoppers can also pick up a dozen roses for £5 or the Extra Special Rose and Lilly Bunch for £15.

This bouquet is a mix of lilies teamed with scented eucalyptus and roses in deep red and pink colour.

The supermarket has also launched a new product for this year - the £15 Rose Giftbag.

It comes in a water box and is decorated with an added ribbon wrap.

M&S

While it may not be the cheapest option,does provide free shipping when you pre-order.

Some of the more affordable choices to pick from are the Blush Rose Abundance Bouquet and the Oriental Lily, both priced at £25.

Shoppers can also grab the standard dozen red roses for £25.

For £10 more, you can get the standard dozen roses with chocolate or prosecco bundles.

But prices go all the way up to £100 for a Luxury Red Rose Bouquet.

Retailers offering next-day delivery

Most e-florists and online retailers will offer a next-day delivery service.

Plenty of high street and supermarket chains like M&S and Morrisons also provide a next day delivery services.

The express service usually comes with a pricier delivery charge though, so always check costs beforehand.

Consumer group Which? advises you to take the following steps in order to grab a refund:

  • Take a picture as evidence of poor condition or damage to your flowers to support your complaint.
  • If a loved one or friend has sent you flowers that have arrived in a poor condition or late, tell them. Otherwise, the retailer may say they can’t access the order information and won’t resolve the problem.
  • If you receive fewer amount of flowers than you ordered, you’re entitled to a partial refund for the missing flowers.
